NOT ALL AEROBIC SYSTEMS ARE THE SAME.
Gulf Coast Aerobics is proud to be an authorized Aquaklear, Clearstream and Nuwater installer. These systems offer high-quality water treatment and component reliability making these our choice in aerobics. You can check out these systems on our website.
NOT ALL INSTALLERS ARE THE SAME.
We’re committed to the long-term performance of your aerobic system. TCEQ regulations require two years of warranty and maintenance of your new aerobic system. We fulfill that requirement on every installation and offer a continuing maintenance program to ensure the proper operation of your system for life.
NOT ALL INSTALLATIONS ARE THE SAME.
At Gulf Coast Aerobics, we won’t cut corners. Careful system layout and proper installation using quality materials are essential to ensure worry-free operation of your new system.
AEROBIC INSTALLATION – WHAT TO EXPECT
Homebuilders and homeowners alike often learn all the integral elements of an aerobic installation after the installer has come and gone, failing to complete the job. Our goal is to finish the installation to the highest standards, anticipating that we will maintain the system for the life of the home. We want to educate you on all of the facets of an installation, so all expectations are met.
WHAT NEEDS TO HAPPEN BEFORE THE INSTALLATION?
On-Site Review
Our Installer will meet you onsite to discuss the layout of the system and installation procedures. That discussion should include the following:
Where to locate the tank(s), sprinklers and control panel
Identify any unmarked utilities or other items that might affect the installation.
What to do with leftover dirt (leave, spread or haul)
Discuss options for settling of dirt around the tanks
Ensure that the tank truck can access the installation site
Projected installation date (always weather permitting)
Electrical requirements for your system.
Aerobic systems require a dedicated 110 amp. electrical stubout with a 20 amp. breaker.
How long will the installation take and how long will my system be down?
Typically, aerobic installations are completed in one day. On some occasions our cover-up crew may finish the installation on a second day. When we replace existing systems, your home is usually out of sewer service for less than half a day.
What will my lawn look like?
Expect to replace sod around the area of the installation. We’re bringing in heavy equipment and excavating a lot of dirt. We will smooth the soil as neatly as possible but expect to see a large area of dirt around the installation site.
What about my sprinkler system?
Heavy equipment operators can not avoid digging into sprinkler lines and sprinkler heads. We will try our best to identify damaged sprinkler lines or components, but plan on calling your irrigation company to make any necessary repairs and test the irrigation system.
Yikes! The tank settled!
It is normal for dirt to settle around tanks. Only time and weathering can fully compact the soil around tanks. We highly recommend backfilling around the tanks with sand at the installation when possible. While sand will still settle, the effects will be minimal in comparison.
We will be back.
We want to meet the homeowner after installation for an orientation on the system. Every installation is given a “DO’S & DON’TS” brochure to ensure you are aware of the proper care and maintenance of your new system.
Please call our office at (409)925-2534 to arrange a time and date.
